Byron Belitsos is an award-winning publisher who has been editor of many acclaimed books. He is a long-time student of The Urantia Book and co-author of The Adventure of Being Human: Lessons on Soulful Living from the Heart of the Urantia Revelation. Byron will summarize the main cosmology presented in The Urantia Book, first published by Urantia Foundation in 1955, claiming to have been presented by celestial beings as a revelation to our planet, Urantia. We’ll discuss the book’s instruction on genesis and the destiny of humanity. In the first hour, Byron tells us about the angelic hierarchy, the rebellion and the correcting time. In the second hour, we’ll continue on the rebellion planet and the correcting time. Byron explains the rebellion of Lucifer and how the descendents of the indigenous beings on Earth carried on his traditions. We’ll talk about how Uranita or Earth is a special planet although not created in the form of the original intention. Later, we talk about the turnaround time of the correcting period and celestial help. Also, we cover the afterlife according to The Urantia book.
Note: At metaphysical book stores the Urantia book is categorized as a biblical text, this is an incredible body of work that had a major influence on my spiritual perspective in my late teens. At a young age it gave me a highly evolved, expanded outlook on both the universe and Spirituality without all the fear mongering, control and fundamentalism found in most religions. It’s scientifically based, so it made sense ~ whereas religion never made sense and the emerging New Age stuff was too woo~woo. In my opinion it’s a very scientific, pragmatic approach to spirituality, the structure of the physical universe and the hierarchy of beings that manage it. Earth history and the life of Jesus are written far more realistically than the King James version and without all the dogma. I didn’t get through the whole book, not even close. Even so it had a huge impact on my life and is even one of the few items my past youth that’s still in my possession. If you get a chance, check it out.
