Hello Alexandra, thank you so much for your quick response.
I can do the interview this evening or anytime tomorrow, March 11th, after noon. I would prefer 2 o’clock or later as I have some health issues (multiple strokes) that I am dealing with currently.
I am happy that you are enthusiastic about having me on, because I honestly don’t know if I will be around next year to still talk about this issue. The health issue I have has an 85% mortality rate. Anyway…here’s what I have for you, and I hope you find this email helpful.
The last time I was on RT (2 years ago because every time you guys ask me to come on since I’ve been too sick to do interviews) I talked about how “decontamination” is impossible.
The New York Times ran an article a few days ago saying the same thing…
2 years after I said it on your show. Last RT interview is here:
New York Times article:
Even more importantly Alexandra, is that there is NO TECHNOLOGY to fix the plant or any of the conditions that occurred…including 3 meltdowns which are ongoing.
RT interviewed a nuclear engineer/groundwater specialist who said 3,000 – 5,000 tons of groundwater move through the plant daily which comes down from the volcanic spine of Japan…this in addition to what is poured daily on the reactors, which Tepco admitted (and then revised upward) is hundreds of tons per day.
I searched extensively through RT’s website and I can not locate that article ^^ or interview. I believe it was an Op-Ed piece. I will keep looking. Here is one that is similar:
This water, and the GROUNDWATER, is making contact with the corium underground and pouring into the Pacific. So it is thousands of tons per day, not hundreds…for 5 years straight. Tepco has admitted they have no idea where the corium is, but they know the reactors are empty. So they are underground, underneath the plant, all 450 tons of them. Tepco built an underground wall at reactor one (because the corium is liquified) and now the wall is caving in…several workers have been seriously injured or DIED working underground on this wall. All the wall is doing (and this is a different wall then the failed “ice wall” plan that won’t freeze) is backing up the contamination around the site and causing subsidence issues with the buildings, whose pools are still full of fuel with the exception of reactor 4 – which Tepco said they cleaned up – but NRC docs said the contents of this pool burned for weeks to the point it was empty. So who is telling the truth here? How can we ever really find out?? Whistle-blowers and workers, that seems to be the only way. I did an interview with RT about this a few years ago:
Everything that has happened at Fukushima since the accident is basically political or cosmetic, to give the illusion that something is being done to fix all of Fukushima’s problems and nuclear power is still safe, and can be controlled. The truth is THERE IS NO TECHNOLOGY to fix Fukushima, and the Japanese government and the US government is LYING when they say we won’t be affected.
The sickness has already started in Japan…possibly in the US too from what physicians and whistle-blowers are telling me. SINCE FUKUSHIMA, cancer has become the Number 1 cause of death in children, where it was accidents before.
It is not just cancer…there is a whole gammet of radiation sickness and disease that will manifest itself in ways that are subtle at first…sometimes something that seems as insignificant as personality changes, can be from radiation exposure because of its effect on the brain. If you do a lot of flying, you are not only flying thru fallout from Fukushima and weapons testing, but you are getting hit with cosmic rays which Spaceweather.com has been studying since this was first observed by one of their scientists, who was flying across country and had taken a Geiger counter on a plane. He was very alarmed at what he recorded and observed, and the Spaceweather scientists are now doing special balloon flights to asses how hot things are up in the sky. Obviously, if you have any background in metallurgy or the Wigner Effect, this will have an effect on airliners too. This is also the reason all the spent fuel pools in the US and worldwide are CRACKED. Same thing with aviation…Airliners have not been designed to fly through high radiation fields.
(RC edit: posting “The Wigner Effect” playlist)
Even the former head of the NRC said so…
We are going to see escalation of rare childhood cancers in the US, Canada, and really the entire northern hemisphere, like retinoblastoma and brain cancer, which is already common around Simi Valley from the Rocketdyne meltdowns and in cities that have nuclear reactors. But we will also see escalation of not only cancers – but immune disorders, degenerative diseases, and an increase in every kind of mental illness you can think of, which we know because this was studied in populations downwind during above ground nuclear tests in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Peer-reviewed scientific studies were published about the escalation of violent crime in downwinders of nuke tests.
**What I would also like to mention, on air if possible, is that while Barack Obama was reassuring the public that “No radiation will reach our shores” in March of 2011 – Hillary Clinton was emailing her friends in government and telling them she “won’t be going outside for awhile” because she knew how horrendous the releases were from the plant. The big releases went on for months, and were picked up on air filters in Norway. Those air masses went over the US first, and exposed the population significantly in the Pacific Northwest, Salt Lake City, the Midwest, and Central Florida, among other places. Hillary Clinton responded by signing a treaty in Japan with the PM at the time to assure the public the US was not worried about contamination in seafood and would continue to import what she KNEW would be radioactive fish. We know this because of the email scandal going on with her, and a recent data dump of FOIA requests which outlined her private conversations about what was really going on at the plant, and how she was taking precautions and urged that her friends in the US do so as well.
Arnie Gunderson, a former nuclear executive turned whistle-blower, estimated that people in Seattle inhaled 10-30 “hot particles” a day over a period of weeks, perhaps even months…worse if you spent anytime outside, especially exercising, like children running track…these will lodge in the lungs and airway and nuke all the cells around it, til cancer starts growing. For CHILDREN, whose cells are still dividing and creating a genetic legacy that they will in turn pass on to THEIR children…the cancers and endocrine problems that will result are going to be horrendous.
In the first few weeks after the accident, the USGS and NADP (National Atmospheric Deposition Program) reported fallout detections during the ‘incident’ spanning March 12-14, and then publicly stated they were too small to do harm – and stopped testing for it. This is deceitful and dishonest, as we know that bio-accumulation will occur over time and that is the secret that they are hiding. Their estimation and reassurances is based on a ONE TIME EXPOSURE for a 25 year old male soldier…not small amounts that continue to be detected in rain, soil, wind, weather, and crops. When you have constant exposures, even if small, these build up in the food you eat and then in the body over time. There will be variations in sickness based on location and diet…but you have to know where to look for it, and the testing needs to be for ALL the radioactive particles released from the plant and their daughter products…of which there are 2000 of them. This will never be done because it will be too revealing. And if it is done, it will only be checked for a couple of isotopes, not all 2000 radionucliedes, and all of their daughter products.
For example: The Chicago Tribune ran a story showing fisherman with wet fish in buckets being taken for testing. This testing is meaningless because the radiation is shielded by water. In order to properly test the fish, the fish needs to be dissected, dried out, and each system, organ, skin, bone, etc tested separately by a very sophisticated and sensitive Geiger counter, in a lab with background blocking (like a lead box) and with the instrument calibrated between each measurement. They are doing this half-assed with wet fish in buckets because they know how hot the fish will be, and they want people to keep eating seafood. Whoever gets sick, will just go into the Medical Industrial Complex and then you can get your testing, chemo and radiation to treat whatever illness you have. This is UNCONSCIONABLY the most deceitful and dishonest article I have seen so far on the 5 year anniversary of Fukushima…
Water testing being done by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute is also misleading the public. We know from documents from the US Armed Forces in 1955 that radiation will bio-concentrate in plankton hundreds of times higher than the surrounding seawater. But they are not testing the plankton, and that is the base of the food chain!
People are getting sick, and the sickness will get worse. It will happen first in areas where there are force multipliers…like contamination from previous nuclear accidents (Simi Valley, Brookhaven NL, Rocky Flats, TMI, etc in the US) or in places that have some other toxic legacy, like the GOM coastline from the BP disaster. Chemicals plus radiation exposure creates a tremendous force multiplier which affects the ability of our bodies to function properly.
TV: Shocking number of cancers around leaking nuclear plant near NYC… Tens of thousands of cases recently reported… “More than anywhere else in US”… “Why is this story not being covered by everybody?” — Teacher: “I can’t believe the number of teachers who have gotten cancer” (VIDEOS)
I was asked for a statement, and this is what I gave them in lieu of appearing on their show today.
“The 5 year Anniversary of the Fukushima Accident is not a ‘milestone’ that should be celebrated in any way, shape or form. It is a gaping wound in our planet that will continue to bleed radioactivity INTO OUR FOOD CHAIN for at least the next 100 years.”
