How and why you should fight ALL fines – by an ex-Police Sergeant.

My name is Stan. I am a retired Sergeant of Police in Victoria for 14 years. I was also a police prosecutor at times, so I know what I am talking about. I spent half my life in Magistrates Court during my time in the Force. I was only ever a very fair copper, and I am proud of my time in the job, looking after the interests of Victorians, often to the detriment of my family and my health.

I never booked any driver for a trifling offence “ever”. People committing trifling offences commonly used to get a warning and a licence / vehicle check. It had to be serious before I booked anyone.

I am so annoyed at what is happening these days, in what I call “Indiscriminate revenue gathering” It is absolutely disgusting. The government and the Police Force need to hang their heads in shame. If you did a survey of current serving members of the police forces in this country, you would be hard pushed to find many who disagree with me.

I know how the legal system works, and I know how to beat the system. This is how to do it, and if about 10% of all drivers booked follow my specific instructions, then the entire system will crash and become unworkable to the extent, that the government will have no choice but to stop issuing fines for every type of traffic offence. The whole lot of them. Seriously.

I do not feel guilty about coming out with this information, as I think it’s about time someone stood up for hard working, civil minded, law abiding taxpayers in this country, who are being screwed.

This is very simple and very basic. The idea is to clog up the system in the traffic camera office and the courts by drivers exercising their rights to remain innocent until proven guilty.

1. Do not accept the alleged offence. There are numerous valid reasons to dispute every single alleged offence. Often the charges are incorrect or the evidence is illegally or incorrectly gathered.

2. Challenge it, tell them that you are going to defend the matter. Make them earn their miserable $150 or $200 or whatever. They have to prepare evidence and witnesses. Just the wages for the camera operator or the Policeman on the day of the court, will be more than the actual fine. You are also taking a camera operator or a member of the Police Force off the street for the day. But it won’t get to that point… on….

3. If a court date is ever set, and it does not suit you, do not accept it, ask for a delay to a time and place that suits you.

4. When they re set the date, delay it as often as possible. keep pleading not guilty all through the process. You have every right to be sick, or go for an adjournment if the day does not suit for any legitimate reason. For example you may have pressing family or work commitments which prevent you from attending a particular court on a particular day.

5. If it ever actually gets to court, (which is unlikely if everyone does this) and if you are unwell that day, ring the court in the morning and tell them that you cannot make it as you are sick. The camera operator, and a police prosecutor will already be at court, and will be greatly inconvenienced, by having to come back another day. The whole time this is going on, the amount of paperwork involved at the traffic camera office is huge. Several staff are involved, and it rapidly becomes very costly, probably running into thousands. …..with me so far…..keep reading…….

6. The court system is then placed under such a massive load by people who wanted “their day in court” that it simply will not be able to cope unless they open up about another 50 magistrates courts, and this is obviously going to cost the government a lot more than any revenue raised. If all the above fails, which is highly unlikely….and you actually go to court and get convicted……you have a right of appeal. Make sure you appeal the conviction. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see what happens. They are not going to spend millions chasing hundreds.

7 Tell everyone you know to challenge their alleged offences, and the entire system will crash within a few weeks.

UPDATE: I receive this through an email today, so for all readers:

That is taken DIRECTLY from a PAID, Members ONLY website of ours – accordingly, we require you to please credit us with this e-mail. It took us a LOT of work to get that ex-police officer to write such a detailed e-mail and, whilst we obviously encourage people to fight back against their fines, we would like them to do so with our step-by-step system to do that, which is detailed in our 85 page e-book.

Accordingly, please explain that to people on your website or, at the very least, direct people to our website for further details.

We thank you for your co-operation.

Drone Victims To Congress: Why Did Our Grandma Die? The Young Turks **PLEASE LISTEN**

These beautiful children need to be heard, this is important testimony people need to hear. God Bless Alan Grayson for putting this hearing together, PLEASE LISTEN AND SHARE FREELY!!

MASS PUBLIC OUTRAGE is the only thing that will stop these senseless murders, obviously disapproval isn’t enough for greedy, genocidal war-mongers. Mahalo!

“U.S. lawmakers heard testimony Tuesday morning from survivors of an alleged drone strike for the first time in history, with three Pakistani citizens appearing before Congress to describe an attack that killed their matriarch in Pakistan last year.

Schoolteacher Rafiq ur Rehman and his two children — 9-year-old daughter Nabila and 13-year-old son Zubair — traveled on the invitation of Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., to Washington, where they shared their accounts of the alleged drone attack that killed Rehman’s mother, Momina Bibi, and injured two children in the remote tribal region of North Waziristan last October.

The Rehmans, shocked by the attack, which appeared to target Bibi, a 67-year-old midwife, wants answers from Congress. Encouraged by prominent anti-drone activist and Rehman’s lawyer, Shahzad Akbar, they earned an invitation from Grayson to appear at the hearing.”* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Why Bradley Manning Should Go Free ~ The Young Turks

“Two major precedents — one encouraging, the other troubling — emerge from today’s conviction of Bradley Manning on espionage charges, but not on charges of aiding the enemy. One is about the definition of journalism, and all the attendant protections that are supposed to come with that profession in a democracy. The other is about who America’s government defines as patriotic heroes and who it deems traitorous villains.”*

Bradley Manning faces the prospect of spending the rest of his life behind bars after being convicted of espionage. But why? Why are the priorities of the American government to persecute a man who publicized very credible allegations of torture and war crimes rather than pursue those who committed those crimes? Isn’t it a soldier’s duty to report war crimes? Cenk Uygur makes the case for freeing Bradley Manning.

Google’s deep CIA and NSA connections

The Western media is currently full of articles reporting Google’s denial that it cooperated in a government program to massively spy on American and foreign citizens by accessing data from Googles servers and those of other U.S. software companies.

The mainstream media has, however,  almost completely failed to report that Google’s denial, and its  surface concern over ‘human rights’, is historically belied by its their deep involvement with some of the worst human rights abuses on the planet:

Google is, in fact, is a key participant in U.S. military and CIA intelligence operations involving torture; subversion of foreign governments; illegal wars of aggression; and military occupations of  countries which have never attacked the U.S. and which have cost hundreds of thousands of lives in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and elsewhere.

To begin with, as reported previously in the Washington Post and elsewhere, Google  is the supplier of the customized core search technology for ‘Intellipedia, a highly-secured online system where 37,000 U.S. spies and related personnel share information and collaborate on their devious errands.

Agencies such as the so-called ‘National Security Agency’, or NSA, which is implicated in the current ‘spying on Americans’ scandal,  have also purchased servers using Google-supplied search technology which processes information gathered by U.S. spies operating all over the planet.

In addition, Google is linked to the U.S. spy and military systems through its Google Earth software venture.  The technology behind this software was originally developed by Keyhole Inc., a company funded by Q-Tel , a venture capital firm which is in turn openly funded and operated on behalf of the CIA.

Google acquired Keyhole Inc. in 2004.  The same base technology is currently employed by U.S. military and intelligence systems in their quest, in their own words, for “full-spectrum dominance” of the planet.

Moreover, Googles’ connection with the CIA and its venture capital firm extends to sharing at least one key member of personnel.  In 2004, the Director of Technology Assessment at In-Q-Tel, Rob Painter, moved from his old job directly serving the CIA to become ‘Senior Federal Manager’ at Google.

As Robert Steele, a former CIA case officer has put it:  Google is “in bed with” the CIA.

Googles Friends spy on millions of Internet Users

Given Google’s supposed concern with ‘human rights’ and with user-privacy, it’s worth noting that Wired magazine reported some time ago that Google’s friends at In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of the CIA, invested in Visible Technologies, a software firm specialized in ‘monitoring social media’.

The ‘Visible’ technology can automatically examine more than a million discussions and posts on blogs, online forums, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, Amazon, and so forth each day.   The technology also ‘scores’ each online item, assigning it a positive, negative or mixed or neutral status, based on parameters and terms set by the technology operators.   The information, thus boiled down, can then be more effectively scanned and read by human operators.

The CIA venture capitalists at In-Q-Tel previously said  they will use the technology to monitor social media operating in other countries and give U.S. spies ¡°early-warning detection on how issues are playing internationally,¡± according to spokesperson Donald Tighe.   There is every possibility that the technology can also be used by the U.S. intellligence operatives to spy on domestic social movements and individuals inside the U.S.

Finally, Obama during his recent meeting with Chinese president Xi, again more-or-less accused China of cyber intrusions into U.S. government computers.  There has, however, been a curious absence from the statements emanating from Google, from U.S. government sources, and from U.S. media reports of truely substantive evidence linking the Chinese government with the alledged break-in attempts.  Words like ‘sophisticated’ and ‘suspicion’ have appeared in the media to suggest that the Chinese government is responsible for the break-ins.  That may be so.  But it is striking that the media has seemingly asked no tough questions as to what the evidence behind the ‘suspicions’ might be.

It should be noted that the U.S. government and its intelligence agencies have a long history of rogue operations intended to discredit governments or social movements with whom they happen to disagree.  To see how far this can go, one need only recall the sordid history of disinformation, lies, and deceit used to frighten people into supporting the Iraq war.

Whether the past attacks on U.S. government systems, Google email, et al  originated from the Chinese government, from the U.S. intelligence operatives, or from elsewhere, one thing is clear:  A company that supplies the CIA with key intelligence technology; supplies mapping software which can be used for barbarous wars of aggression and drone attacks which kill huge numbers of innocent civilians; and which in general is deeply intertwined with the CIA and the U.S. military machines, which spy on millions, the company cannot be motivated by real concern for the human rights and lives of the people in the U.S. and on the planet.

OccupyMARINES & Occupy Police Want Lieutenant John Pike FIRED!!

This is a joint effort between Occupy Police & Occupy Marines. We are petitioning both, the California State Government and the US Federal Government in an attempt to have Lieutenant John Pike’s Employment with the UC Davis Police Department, terminated once this petition receives it’s 10,000th signature. Lt. Pike showed a lack of both restraint and crowd control knowledge when he  blatantly sprayed 11 UC Davis students in the face at point blank range with pepper spray. These students were fully within their constitutional rights being exactly where and as they were, when Lt Pike in an attempt to remove them; blatantly and nonchalantly sprayed them in the face with pepper spray.

We feel that this action could have been avoided had properly trained officers been on site, furthermore, and in addition to the latter, we feel that the visible lack of remorse shown in both Lt. Pike’s stride and nonchalant facial expression while delivering projectile acid directly to the faces of 11 students is grounds for a full psychological evaluation, we are requesting this evaluation be executed immediately and prior to our termination request. We ask for the results of this evaluation to be made public. Results should in no way add gravity to this petitions request for Lt. Pike’s termination from the UC Davis Police Department.

In addition, to Lt. Pike’s employment termination, and full psychological evaluation, we request a full federal investigation into the UC Davis Police Department. We the undersigned and citizens of America feel adequate leadership is/was not present, and is/was needed at UC Davis PD. We ask you to investigate their leadership, and release publicly any findings regarding your investigation -
